I always hate to see summer go, but I do love fall in Norman!
Fall brings not only an annoying an amount of college students, but OU Football! Football season also brings homecoming and homecoming parades!
We don't think that Gray is quite ready for an OU football game but we took her to two different Norman High games this year, and she loved it! Maybe an OU game is in our new future....
Grammy started the tradition of taking Gray to the homecoming parades when she was very tiny and the tradition continues. It was so fun to see that she really got the concept of what the parade was all about and all the candy that is involved!
Fight on Norman High...
"Grammy look, here they come!"
"Wow! Candy!!"
"Gotta get this in my bag...more is coming!"
We had to start holding Gray back between groups. She really got the hang of the candy collecting!
Thank you Norman High for a great parade, we cant wait until next year!

Just a few weeks later was the OU parade. We have found the perfect spot right at the beginning of the parade. Trust me people, this is the prime candy location!
Gray decided that she wanted to wear her pink shades. They were a HUGE hit with the college girls!
At one point Joey said "I cant believe that she just sits there and looks cute and gets candy, she doesn't even have to try!" It must have been the glasses daddy :)

Bravo OU for another great Homecoming parade! You guys did a great job.
We cant wait to enjoy more great Norman parades next year!
