Splash pad!

the weather was so nice today that we had to get out and enjoy it. we decided to join the wright girls on an outing to the splash pad! gray had such a great time watching all the action, especially maddie and hadlee. i know that she was just dreaming of next summer when she will get to participate. so until next year, we will watch from the sidelines in the the shade of a nice tree....

my brave girl

on saturday, before all the partying, gray had an appointment at children's hospital. she was there to have an ultrasound on her sacral dimple:

A sacral dimple or pilonidal dimple is a small hole located just above the buttocks. The name comes from the sacrum, the bone at the end of the spine, over which the dimples are found. More than 2% of babies may have such dimples; almost all of these are very minor.

grays doctors concern is that these dimples can be open, which can cause infection or that it is a sign of spinal tethering. the tech said that the spinal cord didn't seem to be an issue (BIG sigh) but that there was a possibility of thehole being open..so now we wait to hear from the doctor....i hate the waiting game!!!

i was so proud of gray and how brave she was! she was a great patient and laid still while the tech preformed the ultrasound, and trust me if you know this girl you know she is rarely still when awake! ;)

ill keep you all updated, fingers crossed and lots of prayers that there wont be anything to report!

Party girl!

Gray had a few parties that she was going to this Saturday, a Matilda Jane clothing party a friend of mine hosted (trust me Gray made out like a bandit!) and her best friend Hadlees first birthday party (pics to come). I had bought this outfit for her at Gap and loved it! I thought the little bit of sparkle in the gold stripes made it the perfect festive outfit for this festive day! Maybe a little biased but I thought she looked too cute not to take a few pics!

Happy 1 month baby Gray!

The 16th marked a month since Gray was born...I can not begin to tell you how fast those 4 weeks flew by, and since Ive been lazy, another one has come and gone and shes 5 weeks!!! It has been amazing watching her grow (so fast!) and learning to live life in a whole new way. She has blessed our lives in more ways than we can begin to explain and we are looking forward to the rest of this amazingadventure that has merely just begun!

The 16th of June was also our 3 year wedding anniversary! Talk about flying by....

(and to think that its been 8 since we started dating!) Joey I love you a million times more today than I did we got married and a million times less than I know I will in years to come. Thank you fir sharing your life with me and making mine complete!
