On Grays actual birthDAY Joey had to go to a conference in Houston. He managed to arrange his schedule so he didn't have to leave until after his lady got up and had breakfast. He wanted to be able to say HBD to her in person. (pretty sweet, right?)
Luckily Grammy had the day off, so I knew Gray would be distracted and would even notice Joey was missing, hell, I was there and she didn't even notice me :)
We headed up to OKC to run a few errands and knew that as long as Gray got to eat her favorites she would be set....boy did she eat...all.day.long.
Please note, I took my nice camera, but of course the battery was dead so these are all phone pics...sorry!

Starting the morning off right with a Birthday cake pop from Starbucks. There is one Starbucks in town that we always go to, Gray refers to it as "My Starbucks," we went to the other one in town the other day and I said "Is this Grays Starbucks?" and she responded "No. the other one, where we always go."...oh geez, what have I done??
After a few stops we made it to lunch at Iguana Grill. Gray didn't exactly request Iguana, but this girl could live on guacamole, and since mommy loves it, I did think she would mind :)
Lets also not forget whats right next door.. SaraSara Cupcakes, another major selling point for Iguana.
We had to stop and enjoy the bench in the shade for a minute.
Then to the best part of the day, Cupcakes!! We let Gray have her own and pick which one she wanted. Of course flavor wasn't a factor, it was all about the color.

Luckily "Purple" was blueberry, another favorite of Grays.

The girl working was so sweet, when she heard it was Grays birthday, she gave us a candle and matches. We went out side to sing and enjoy our treats.
Gray was not so sure about the candle, or maybe it was Grammy and Mommys singing :)

This icing was some kind of mutant. It ended up everywhere and mom and I swore it was multiplying!!! Just when you thought you had it all cleaned up, it was covering three more body parts....oh well!
After we made it home and got a good nap in, it was time for dinner with Grammy and Oompah. Where did Gray choose?? Fuzzys of course! Gray could eat here everyday and never tire of it. Mexican twice in one day...if thats what the birthday girl wants!
This look says it all. It was an amazing day filled with yummy food and much celebration!
Not to fear dear readers, the celebrating isn't quite finished yet! We had one more day of celebrating my sweet lady :)
