Its way been TOO long!

WOW! It has been too long since I have blogged last. I am now 37 weeks (well as of tomorrow 4-20) I have had three of the BEST showers ever, we got the garden all planted, (well, minus a few plants) and we had our pictures taken by a dear friend so we could remember this special time!

Garden Planting!

We planted onions (green and white), garlic, lettuce, broccoli, carrots, and my weird plants (see pics below)

We also still have strawberries, squash, zucchini, tomatoes and cantaloupe that we planned on planting this weekend, but TOTALLY got rained out, Yuck!

My weird plants... Joey said I am no longer allowed to go help shop for plants, he said I am like having a kid because I get excited over silly things like these funny plants. Hey, I cant help that I'm a sucker for cute signs.....

The nursery is ALMOST done, I cant wait to post pics later this week!!

March and April showers bring May babies!

So much has been going on in the last week! Ive had two showers, Jen was in town, Joey and I planted our garden, and we have made even more progress on the nursery! Here are some pics from the showers and my 34 week belly pic! Ill be posting garden pics soon, we are already having some growth pop up, its crazy how fast it happens. Hope you all had a blessed Easter!

Last Tuesday (March 30th) marked my 34th week!

Shower #1!

The weekend of March 27th Jen was in town! She, her mom wonderful Susie, and a great family friend Mary hosted my first baby shower! It was so nice spending time with such wonderful women, and they showered us with amazing gifts!

This weekend, April 3rd, The Wrights, The soon-to-be Edmunds, The Scotts and the Carmans, hosted our couples shower! It was so much fun, and I loved Joey getting to be a part of the whole baby shower experience! We received the most wonderful gift and couldn't ask for more!

Two of our best friends, Jenny and Tanner, gave us an amazing gift! Jenny made a basket of all the things that she has found over the last year for Hadlee that she just couldn't live without! Each item had a note that explained why she loved it...there was everything from sippy cups, to blankets, to washcloths, and the perfect onesies..I loved it!! The cutest part, Tanner put in a bottle of Crown for Joey with a note that said "for late nights"~It was really sweet of them!

Jeni Spates-Scott was in charge of all the desserts, she made the cutest cupcakes and these amazing bird cookies! She took a couple and strung them on a beautiful flowering branch and the girls had it as a center piece, it looked like the tree in Grays room! I LOVED IT!!!
