Its time to talk everything Halloween 2012! This year was pretty easy due to the fact that Gray requested being a "tutu" for Halloween and after showing her the "tutu" costumes on Pinterest, she chose the Queen of Hearts. Why did this make it easier? If you remember, I made the queen of hearts costume last year and Gray REFUSED to wear it. I had kept it and lucky for me.... It still fit!!! YEA!
So we outfitted and ready to enjoy all the parties and festivities of the season!
The Edmunds hosted a fun Halloween party. All the kids brought a pumpkin to decorate and Tiff had cookies fo them to decorate and take home as a goodie bag. It was horrible windy, but thatdidnt stop these little monsters from creating the perfect pumpkin.
My serious budding artist, look at the concentration!
Adding a little sparkle..
Then we moved on to the cookies.
Thanks Edmunds! We cant wait for the 2nd annual Edmunds"ters" Halloween party next year!
There was also a dance party to attend. All the girls were so cute dressed up for class! We tried to get a few before class photos and as you can see someone was not that interested....
Drama!
Sweet girls! I cant wait to watch these girls all grow up together at dance and at school.
After a short class it was party time!
with LOTS of yummy treats!
We tried another shoot after class, this one went a tad better :)
I think that our first Massays holiday party was a success! Thank you Miss Heather and all the other mommies for such a wonderful party!
Next up on our party agenda was our MDO school party. Party days at school result in extra play and no rest time. These cuties done seem to mind!
more yummy treats made by amazing mommies.
As you can see I am not brave enough to send Gray to school in costume. I feared that it would be destroyed before the big trick-or-treating night. We opted for a halloween color themed outfit instead.
(note: Carrie is a good mom and let Caroline wear her costume to school)
Sweet Caroline "Buzz" and Gray
Sweet treats bring out big smiles!
Happy Halloween Stars!
After the treats the kids relaxed and watched a little Monsters Inc.
Thank you McFarlin for another amazing class party!
Finally the nigh night had come and it was time to Trick-or-treat!
This girl was READY!
"come on Grammy"
We ended up with more candy than this little lady could should ever eat. I have to say, just like last year, her favorite part was coming home and passing out candy to the other trick-or-treaters. Its better to give than to receive, right?
The Saturday after Halloween was the Junior League monster dash. Grammy, Gray and I loaded up and went to participate in the 1 mile fun run....in costume of course!
Waiting to get started.
Still warm and happy...
Almost done baby!
Woo Hoo!
Every year there is a costume contest and this year my little lady got 2nd place! You cant tell from the pic, but she was super excited and couldn't wait to show off her trophy and gift card! It was just freezing by this point, so we loaded up and headed home to show daddy.
All of this years festivities were a huge success and tons of fun! I cant wait to see what Gray wants to be next year, and all the fun places that we will get to celebrate daddys favorite holiday!
(holding out hope that she will agree to coordinate with Boyd....we shall see :))
